Wenonga Residence

Designed as another speculative design-build project in Old Leawood, this home was also a study as to how the developers were to complement the existing architecture of its neighbors while accommodating the needs of the overall program and future buyers.  Again, the project respects its context by stepping back from the street and exhibiting a similar material palette, but rather than add a standalone second floor addition, the bedrooms and loft on the second floor were contained under the existing roof resulting in a 1-1/2 story residence with a scale similar to its neighbors.
