Revare Residence

Sited on a golf course view lot in Prairie Village, KS, this speculative design-build project presented several challenges. Mainly, how to complement the existing architecture of its neighbors while accommodating the needs of the developer and future buyers.  While formally more modern than the cottages that inhabit the neighborhood, the project respects its context by stepping back from the street and exhibiting a similar material palette. This, combined with period interior design details, results in a modern home with vintage charm.

The goal of the architecture was to create a series of interesting spaces and perspectives alongside golf course views.
